SaveMaxx is an online grocery delivery service serving international foods & groceries operating in Canada. One can order products from South Asian countries like India/Bangla and more.

Objective:
The main objective was to create a single vendor e-commerce site to establish a robust and scalable online store that meets customer needs and contributes to the business’s growth and success in the digital marketplace.

Challenge:
– No code dashboard was required for over all management
– Integration with Canadian Shipping / Courier Agencies
– Overriding / Discounting was required on the prices displayed by the couriers
– The client wanted option to for BROWSE BY COUNTRY option where the products and even the header menus get completely changed depending of which country they are browsing in
– Connection / Sync was required to an exsiting POS system at the warehouse

Solution:
– To make the website easily manageable for the client without requiring technical expertise, we opted WooCoomerce. This ensured the client could effortlessly update products, manage inventory, process orders, and oversee various aspects of the online store without dealing with complex coding.
– To overcome the COURIER INTEGRATION challenge, we researched and implemented robust plugins and APIs that allowed seamless integration with various Canadian shipping and courier agencies. This enabled real-time shipping calculations, accurate tracking, and efficient order fulfillment.
– We customized the WooCommerce pricing structure using code modifications and plugins. This allowed us to override and apply discounts to the prices provided by the courier agencies, ensuring the client could offer competitive pricing to their customers.
– To achieve the desired “Browse by Country” functionality, we designed a dynamic system that asked the user’s to choose the country upon the 1st visit and automatically adjusted the product listings and header menus accordingly. Users selecting from different countries experienced tailored content and offerings relevant to their location.
– To establish a seamless connection between the WooCommerce website and the client’s existing Point of Sale (POS) system at their warehouse, we implemented a custom API integration & also made use of the existing 3rd party intergaration available by the POS system. This allowed real-time synchronization of inventory, order status, and product data between the online store and the physical warehouse, streamlining operations and preventing inventory discrepancies.

Results:
In summary, we successfully tackled the challenges by leveraging our expertise in WooCommerce development and employing customized solutions. The integrated shipping, dynamic pricing, location-based browsing, user-friendly dashboard, and POS system sync contributed to a fully functional and efficient e-commerce platform tailored to the client’s unique needs.

The result was an enhanced shopping experience for customers and optimized management for the client, leading to increased sales and overall business growth.
