Yuva Spandana

Yuva Spandana is a program to brought to the general public of Karnataka state by the colloborative efforts of The Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports – Govt. of Karnataka & National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences is also known as NIMHANS.

This is a program to bridge the gap between youth, their families, and the ever-changing society in order to enable a smooth transition of youth from childhood to adulthood. This program plans to create safe spaces for youth within their families and societies to express themselves and to raise general awareness about youth, their dilemmas, needs, and other concerns.

Objective: The major goal was to develop a website that was intuitive, engaging, youthful, multilingual (English and Kannada), responsive, and had a completely unique UI and UX. People should be able to quickly connect with the program’s overall goal once it is launched. The page load time, security, and maximum up-time were additional factors that were taken into account in addition to these

Challenge:
To reach the high degree of detail, the UI designs given were hand-drawn on paper.
The website shouldn’t have the same appearance as a typical government website.

Solution: Our team of knowledgeable UI to CODE developers came together to first convert the hand-drawn UI DESIGNS to PSD/FIGMA templates and then to a working website template. We chose WordPress CMS since the site’s information is frequently updated and its pages are available in multiple languages.
Website was safely hosted on National Informatics Centre (NIC) servers in accordance with all security and safety procedures.

Results:
We finally had a beautiful multi-lingual website which was appreciated by each and everyone. We also recieved a special appreciation from the NIMHANS team and Karnataka State Govt.
